Position Summary:
The Sr. Analyst - Accelerator will be a critical member of SwitchON's Greenovation Hub, strengthening sourcing, evaluation, and support of climate-focused startups and NGOs.
The role requires strong analytical ability, financial acumen, research skills, and excellent communication to work effectively with founders, investors, and grassroots innovators.
Key Responsibilities:
Opportunity Hunting:
- Scout high-potential startups and grassroots organisations via research, events, and networks
- Identify solutions in climate tech, agri-tech, renewable energy, and clean air sectors
Evaluation & Investment Support:
- Analyse business models, traction, team capabilities, and financial health
- Prepare investment memos and financial models; assist with presentations to investment committees
Founder Readiness & Documentation:
- Build structured data rooms and investor-ready documentation
- Support accelerator programs (bootcamps, pitch days) with content and reporting
Sector Research & Insights:
- Conduct in-depth research to track trends and create reports/whitepapers
- Provide insights to guide pipeline development and fund strategy
Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with the core investment and program team
- Represent EarthON in external stakeholder engagements (founders, investors, NGOs, ecosystem players)
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Educational Qualification:
- No strict requirement; exposure to entrepreneurship, E-Cells, or startup ecosystems preferred
- Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields is a plus
Experience:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in startups, consulting, or strategy
- Experience in climate innovation, sustainability, or accelerator/incubator programs is desirable
