Job Description:


SVC Projects Private Limited is seeking an HR Officer with experience in handling human resource activities at construction project sites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of labor laws, workforce management, and statutory compliance related to civil construction projects.


Key Responsibilities:


- Compliance & Licensing: Coordinate with relevant authorities and internal teams to apply for and maintain required licenses and statutory approvals.


- Workforce Management: Ensure proper recruitment, deployment, and motivation of labor and site workforce for efficient project execution.


- Statutory Compliance: Prepare and submit statutory returns, manage labor laws compliance, and handle wage structures as per PF, ESI, and other applicable labor laws.


- Payroll & Wages: Oversee payroll processing for site employees, ensuring timely disbursement of wages and benefits as per legal requirements.


- Employee Relations: Address grievances, manage conflicts, and promote a healthy work environment at the construction site.


- HR Administration: Maintain proper employee records, attendance, and documentation related to site workers.


- Training & Development: Conduct awareness programs on workplace safety, labor rights, and company policies for site employees.


Requirements:


- 5+ years of HR experience in the construction industry, preferably at civil work sites.


- Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, PF, ESI, and wages management.


- Hands-on experience in handling site-based HR operations and workforce coordination.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage a diverse workforce.


- Ability to work under challenging site conditions and ensure HR processes run smoothly.


- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR software tools.
