Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement, inventory control, demand planning, logistics, and vendor management to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Supply Chain Management - Plan, implement, and monitor the supply chain strategy in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Vendor Development & Management - Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and service providers.
- Procurement & Sourcing - Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods; ensure timely availability with cost efficiency.
- Inventory & Warehouse Control - Monitor stock levels, manage warehousing, and ensure minimum stock-outs and overstock situations.
- Logistics & Distribution - Coordinate with logistics partners for timely transportation, dispatch, and delivery of materials and products.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams for accurate forecasting and demand planning.
- Process Optimization - Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvements for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Compliance & Documentation - Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements including GST, FDA, and other industry standards.
- Team Leadership - Manage and mentor a team of executives across procurement, logistics, and warehousing functions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years of proven experience in supply chain operations, preferably in the pharma, healthcare, or FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in procurement and logistics.
