JOB SUMMARY:

The Supplier Performance Manager is responsible for the management of selected suppliers that supply goods and/or services to our client. Responsible for improve the global performance of under-performing suppliers. Prepare/ implement RCA, action plan to manage improvements, ramp-up, recovery and enhance supplier maturity to meet quality and delivery targets. Lead supplier development initiatives as per procurement operations priorities

Responsible for supply chain data reporting.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably with Supply chain major from top Institutes

- Min 10 years (total) of experience in managing vendor/suppliers with 5 years of relevant Supply Chain experience, preferably in Aerospace Industry

- Experience in International environment/ working with Global Aerospace companies

- Team player with a receptive disposition, and a desire to contribute to the success of the supply chain operation

- Strong business knowledge around supply chains, RCA, value streams, cost of non-quality, Risks management, vertical integration .

- Proven knowledge of production, manufacturing principles and processes

- Global-minded, assertive, results-oriented and at the same time team-oriented leader with strong negotiation skills

- Solid organizational, time-management and planning skills

- Demonstrated analytical and project management skills

- Advanced knowledge of Excel

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Master's degree in Supply Chain preferred

- CPIM or similar certification

- Experience in Lean/Six Sigma principles

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Significant domestic travel as well as international trips as required

- Must be able to negotiate with suppliers at high levels and drive, RC & action plans

- Autonomy and self-motivation, demonstrate leadership to drive programs

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

- Manages the global supply chain relationship with suppliers in terms of industrial capability & performance

- Drives systematic development of supply base as per Program challenges / Strategic sourcing priorities

- Lead significant change at supplier to achieve a step change in performance improvement. Enhance supplier maturity to meet Quality and OTD targets

- Identify risk proactively, Initiates supplier supply chain diagnostics and implement mitigation plan to ensure Q&D of supplier base in region, covering all programs

- Drives change in mindset and/or culture at suppliers aiming for a performance orientated organization which is able to continually evolve

- Closely work with purchasing, procurement & scheduling department and other departments and keep them updated on the supplier performances and problem

- Closely working with operation and quality department to enhance supplier maturity

- Perform new supplier assessment, supply chain audit activities and drive action plan

- Supports the purchasing department for contracts chain terms & conditions definition
