Retail Head
Key Responsibilities:
- Retail Leadership: Lead and inspire the retail team, including store managers, regional staff and franchisees to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement innovative retail strategies that drive growth in all regions.
- Customer Experience: Oversee the design and execution of exceptional in-store and online experiences that resonate with consumers.
- Sales Optimization: Drive sales performance by analyzing store metrics, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistent and aligned with our brand identity to create visually compelling environments.
- Operational Excellence: Manage all aspects of retail operations, including staffing, inventory management, store layouts, and product assortment.
- E-commerce: create seamless online-to-offline customer journeys, enhancing the overall shopping experience.
- Franchise Network Development: Oversee the expansion of the franchise network by identifying new opportunities and working closely with franchisees to establish and open new locations.
- Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs for staff and franchise owners and their teams to ensure a high standard of operations, product knowledge, and customer service.
- Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Collaborate with franchisees and supply chain teams to ensure efficient inventory management and product availability across all stores.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Chartered Accountant qualification preferred
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in retail management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role within a franchise or multi-store environment.
- Franchise Expertise: Extensive experience working with franchise operations, including supporting franchise owners, ensuring brand consistency, and improving operational performance.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and influencing a large network of franchisees to achieve operational excellence.
- Sales & Operational Acumen: A track record of driving sales performance and optimizing operations within a retail environment.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with franchise owners and internal teams.
- Training & Development: Experience developing training programs and supporting franchisees to ensure they succeed in delivering quality service and meeting business objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve operational issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Passion for Sport: A genuine passion for sports, fashion, and athletic performance.
