Job Description: Team Member Strategy & Business Excellence

About the Role:


Our banking client is urgently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Member Strategy & Business Excellence to join their team in Kolkata. This role is crucial for driving strategic initiatives, enhancing business intelligence capabilities, and contributing to the overall excellence of the division. We're looking for a professional with a strong aptitude for strategic thinking and problem-solving, ready to make a significant impact.

Grade: Upto Assistant Vice President (AVP)

Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Project Management:


- Drive and oversee the progress of multiple key strategic projects from conception to completion.


- Problem Definition & Solutioning: Define complex business problems and formulate strategic solutions, encompassing scoping, in-depth analysis, preparation, and presentation of comprehensive strategy checks.


Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing:

- Gather and analyze intricate business requirements to formulate effective data warehouse and business intelligence solutions and alternatives.

- Design robust data marts and data warehousing requirements to significantly strengthen the division's data infrastructure.


Predictive Modeling & Trend Analysis:


- Build advanced predictive models and analyze large volumes of information to identify critical trends and patterns, providing actionable insights.

Technical Issue Resolution:


- Provide crucial assistance in the resolution of technical issues and requirements that impact various business services.

Stakeholder Collaboration:


- Liaise effectively with diverse internal stakeholders, including Business Heads, Financial & Accounts (F&A), Business Intelligence Unit (BIU), IT, Operations, Risk, and others, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

Market & Competitive Intelligence:

- Continuously track industry developments and competitor activities for product benchmarking and to identify evolving market trends.

- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to propose innovative new functionalities, features, products, or services.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience, with a strong focus on strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude within the banking or financial services sector.


Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a reputable institution is required.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) is essential.

- Knowledge of R, SQL, Python, or Tableau will be a significant advantage.
