StoryTech - Operations & eCommerce Manager - USA Market

We are looking for an Operations & E-Commerce Manager to lead the setup and execution of our eCommerce USA wing. The role is focused on import operations, regulatory compliance, marketplace onboarding, and channel execution. The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech + MBA background, giving them both technical understanding and business acumen to drive efficient operations and scalable e-commerce growth in the US market.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Imports

- Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, duties, and compliance.

- Liaise with Chinese/Indian manufacturers, freight forwarders, and trading companies for shipment consolidation.

- Ensure smooth movement of goods via LCL/FCL, optimizing for cost and timelines.

- Standardize paperwork and streamline processes for shipments into the U.S.

E-Commerce Sales Channel Setup

- Oversee onboarding and operations across Amazon USA (FBA), Shopify storefront, and other U.S. marketplaces.

- Coordinate with 3PLs/warehouses for inventory management and fulfillment.

- Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations (product labeling, documentation, marketplace rules).

- Support listing optimization and marketplace readiness (not marketing, but operational setup).

Business & Cross-functional Coordination

- Work with finance for supplier/trader payments and consolidated invoicing.

- Collaborate with tech team to integrate tools (ERP/CRM, inventory systems, shipping dashboards).

- Provide leadership with reports on shipments, channel readiness, and operational KPIs.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: B.Tech (Engineering/Technology) + MBA (Operations, Supply Chain, or International Business preferred).

- Experience: 2-4 years in import/export operations, supply chain, or e-commerce logistics (preferred; fresh MBA grads with relevant internships can be considered).

- Knowledge of U.S. customs, GST/duties, and compliance paperwork.

- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Walmart, or other U.S. marketplace operations.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and external vendors.
