- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced State Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh.
- The ideal candidate will be an Agriculture Graduate with an MBA in Marketing or Agriculture, and a strong track record of managing state-level agri sales operations. This role requires a deep understanding of the rural/agri market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive business growth through a robust dealer/distributor network and field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales team across the assigned state(s).
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Build and strengthen dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks.
- Monitor and drive field sales performance through regular reviews and market visits.
- Identify new market opportunities and ensure market penetration.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including agri dealers, retailers, and farmers.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage credit controls.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and product teams for smooth operations.
- Conduct training programs for field staff, distributors, and channel partners.
- Provide regular reports on market trends, competitor activity, and business performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture is mandatory.
- MBA in Marketing or Agriculture Management preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Agri Input Sales, AgriTech, Seeds, Fertilizers, or Crop Protection.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
