SquareShift - Solution Architect

Solution Architect:

- SquareShift is a young and fast-growing cloud consulting company, solving cloud challenges through excellence in technology, thought leadership, and quality in execution. We are HQ in the US & Singapore, with a world-class engineering team in India.

- Founded by serial entrepreneurs, we are a team of tech enthusiasts who have strong expertise in enterprise product development and cloud technologies. As an early and core member of the team, you will work with founders, and will constantly look to improve clients' deliverables.

- This role may require travel / relocation to Singapore or the US for the short or long term

Requirements:

What we look for in you

- At least 10+ years of experience in software engineering including at least 5 years in Enterprise Architecture.

- At least 3+ years of experience working with one of the 3 major cloud providers.

- An ability to influence. Have you more than once convinced a team you worked for, of idea, technology, or architectural pattern

- Excellent knowledge of technical architecture and modern application design patterns, including microservices, serverless functions

- Excellent knowledge in System Design, Distributed Systems and how products such as Kafka, Redis, BigQuery and other distributed systems work behind the scenes.

- A real passion for being curious and a continuous learner. You are someone that invests in yourself as much as you invest in your professional relationships.

- Bonus: Have played a technical presales role with enough experience selling and implementing technology to earn your customer's trust.

- Added advantage: Elasticsearch stack hands-on experience.

- A willingness to travel within the region, as well as occasionally internationally.
