Inside Sales Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Management & Sales Conversion:
- Qualify inbound leads through calls, emails, and digital interactions.
- Understand customer needs, pain points, and goals to recommend relevant products/services.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations via phone or video conferencing.
- Nurture leads and maintain high conversion rates through effective follow-ups and value-based communication.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build long-term relationships with prospects to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate closely with field sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and post-sale engagement.
CRM & Data Management:
- Accurately maintain customer and lead information in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
- Track all interactions, follow-ups, deals, and sales activity to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Generate and analyze sales reports and pipeline data to identify trends and areas of improvement.
Sales Performance & Targets:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
- Actively contribute to the improvement of sales scripts, workflows, and engagement strategies.
- Keep up with product updates, industry trends, and competitor offerings to strengthen pitch effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a strong advantage.
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Inside Sales, preferably in EdTech, Education Services, Staffing, Recruitment, or Manpower Services.
- Experience with outbound sales, lead generation, and customer prospecting.
Essential Skills:
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Regional Language Proficiency: Fluency in any South Indian language will be a plus.
- Sales Tools: Familiarity with tools like Exotel, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales funnel, conversion metrics, and objection-handling techniques.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using digital communication tools, CRMs, and reporting dashboards.
- Result-Oriented: Ability to meet or exceed targets consistently, with a performance-driven mindset.
- Team Collaboration: Experience in working with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, field sales).
