Title: Consumer Insights & Social Listening Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver recurring reports focused on consumer behavior, sentiment, and digital content trends across social media and other online platforms.
- Interpret social conversation data to identify emerging insights about consumer needs,
motivations, and pain points.
- Draft compelling and structured insight-rich narratives aligned with brand/business goals and key audience priorities.
- Validate queries, tags, and data outputs prepared by junior analysts to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting frameworks, dashboards, and storytelling formats.
- Participate in strategic discussions to improve the impact and application of consumer insights across brand and marketing teams.
- Support metadata tagging, taxonomy structure validation, and dataset curation for research consistency.
- Conduct ad hoc research and support proof-of-concept (POC) analysis with actionable
consumer and contextual insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in digital analytics, social intelligence, or consumer insights roles.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major social listening platform such as:
Sprinklr
Talkwalker
Meltwater
Brandwatch or similar tools.
- Proven ability to analyze KPIs such as:
Engagement
Sentiment
Share of Voice (SOV)
Content type performance
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data visualization and storytelling.
- Understanding of digital consumer behavior, audience segmentation, and content
effectiveness metrics.
- Experience with dashboards and automated reporting frameworks is a plus.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a business reporting or
insights presentation context.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, brand, and analytics teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills under tight deadlines.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
