Solution Architect - IT Consulting

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Independent Consultant - Solution Architect with expertise in technology transformation and application architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, advising, and implementing high-impact IT solutions for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with clients to define technology transformation strategies, including cloud migration, IT modernization, and digital transformation.

- Design scalable and resilient application architectures, leveraging microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.

- Provide technical consultancy on best practices for enterprise architecture, software architecture, and IT governance.

- Develop and present solution roadmaps and technical recommendations tailored to business needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of proposed solutions.

- Lead cloud computing initiatives (AWS, Azure, GCP) and advise on cloud-native architectures.

- Guide clients in DevOps adoption, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Ensure security, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) are followed in solution designs.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture and consulting, with a focus on solution and enterprise architecture.

- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native development.

- Expertise in microservices, API management, event-driven architecture, and containerization.

- Hands-on experience with programming languages: Java, Python, .NET.

- Proven experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, ArchiMate, etc.).

- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure automation.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications: AWS Solution Architect, Azure Solution Architect, Google Cloud Architect, TOGAF.

- Experience with AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, or emerging technologies.

- Prior consulting experience in large-scale IT transformation projects.
