We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in the IT services space, particularly across the US and Canadian markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT services domain
- Manage the complete sales cycle-from lead generation to deal closure
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals
- Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales, and technical teams to deliver tailored client solutions
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and areas for expansion
- Deliver engaging and persuasive client presentations and proposals
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize revenue
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and key competitors
Skills and Qualifications Required
- 8 to 10 years of experience in business development or IT services sales
- Proven experience in selling IT solutions in US and Canada markets
- Strong understanding of services such as Web Development, Mobile Applications, DevOps, and Digital Transformation
- Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales productivity platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Prior experience in a software development and consulting environment is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
