Search Marketing Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Search Engine Marketing (SEM / PPC):
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other search platforms.
- Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to maximize ROI.
- Monitor daily budgets, performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS), and campaign KPIs.
- Write compelling ad copy and A/B test headlines, descriptions, and calls-to-action.
- Perform bid adjustments and budget reallocations based on performance trends.
- Set up and manage conversion tracking (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, UTM tagging).
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page audits.
- Optimize website content, metadata, and internal linking for SEO performance.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-optimized blog posts and landing pages.
- Track and report on SEO KPIs including rankings, organic traffic, bounce rate, and domain authority.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (e.g., page speed, crawl errors, broken links).
- Use tools like Google Search Console and Screaming Frog for analysis and optimization.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Build dashboards and generate regular reports on search performance using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or other platforms.
- Analyze trends, extract insights, and make data-backed recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on algorithm changes, ad platform updates, and emerging tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Search Marketing (both SEO and SEM).
- Hands-on expertise with Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
- Strong understanding of keyword strategy, bid management, and A/B testing.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and similar.
- Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript basics, and web page structure.
- Ability to write, analyze, and optimize ad copy and landing pages.
- Excellent analytical, Excel/Sheets, and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) or CMS like WordPress.
- Familiarity with programmatic and display ad networks is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of paid social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
