Site Lead

SITE Lead- Job Location (Kurkumbh - (Pune)

Roles & Responsibility:

- Will lead as Head-Manufacturing operations, a direct team of functional managers (Production, Maintenance, and QC & Engineering) and a team of plant operators.

- Will be responsible for the safe, efficient operation, maintenance & upkeep of the manufacturing facility.

- Primary focus is to plan, organize and direct the manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, maintenance and logistics in a manner that assures the most effective return on assets employed.

- Monitor Operations and growth

- Establishing goals for performance and growth of plant

- Owning the P&L of the plant, strategic planning, resource allocation and growth

- Assist in creating policies that promotes companies vision

- Evaluating performance vs. plan

- Assure the development and coordination of systems and Programs to promote cost effective manufacturing operations in line with manufacturing plans and objectives.

- Support programs and procedures that provide reliable products with minimal quality control, repair, scrap and warranty expense. Assures attainment of programs and production schedules while insuring high quality standards.

- Selecting, training, and developing plant supervisory, technical, and administrative staff. Conducting employee performance reviews and fostering a well-trained and motivated staff

- Review all major technical challenges faced with the Management team and make suggestions accordingly.

- Troubleshooting Operations in Co-ordinations with R&D and Project teams as applicable.

Prerequisites: -

- Strong Technical understanding of basic chemical engineering operations like Distillation, Hydrogenation, Filtration, Crystallization etc. is a must

- Experience and sound understanding of plant utilities like steam based boilers, cooling towers, chillers, Nitrogen and Air compressor

- Ability to handle multiple plants with multiple products

- Working experience as unit head or equivalent

- Strong business acumen, interpersonal managerial and team management skills
