We are looking for an experienced Technical Head to lead our technology team, drive innovation, and build scalable solutions.

The role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in backend Technologies(Python, FastAPI), frontend Technologies, cloud technologies, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Product Development:

- Define and drive the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.

- Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable, high-performance systems with a focus on logistics and supply chain optimization.

- Ensure adherence to security, performance, and compliance standards.

- Promote the adoption of modern technologies and best coding practices.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

- Oversee the tech team (30+ members, including backend, frontend, and DevOps teams).

- Provide mentorship to engineers and build a high-performing tech culture.

- Define engineering best practices, coding standards, and review mechanisms.

- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Backend, Frontend & Infrastructure Management:

- Lead the backend team in building and maintaining robust APIs using Python, FastAPI & Similar Technologies.

- Ensure seamless user experience with frontend technologies.

- Oversee cloud deployments on AWS/Azure, ensuring security, scalability, and cost efficiency.

- Implement DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud monitoring solutions.

Technical Innovation & Research:

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to ShipDelight.

- Experiment with AI/ML, data analytics, and automation tools to enhance logistics operations.

- Drive innovation by fostering R&D initiatives within the technology team.

Implementation & Support:

- Act as a technology guide for the operations and implementation teams.

- Ensure seamless integration of ShipDelight's solutions with external systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.

Key Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and technology leadership.

- Expertise in Python, FastAPI for backend development.

- Strong knowledge of frontend development.

- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (.

- Exposure to AI/ML in logistics technology is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), with an ability to communicate effectively at senior levels.

- Experience in end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle in SaaS, or e-commerce platforms is highly preferred.
