Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary business partner for revenue recognition matters under ASC 606, supporting contract reviews and ensuring compliance.
- Analyze customer contracts and determine proper revenue treatment based on deliverables, performance obligations, and transaction pricing.
- Collaborate with Legal, Sales, and Deal Desk teams to evaluate deal structures and provide guidance on revenue implications before contracts are finalized.
- Prepare or review revenue recognition memos for complex arrangements and ensure audit-ready documentation.
- Support the monthly and quarterly close process by preparing revenue entries, reconciliations, and reports.
- Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to align recognized revenue with forecasts, budgets, and KPIs.
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of systems related to revenue recognition (e.g., RevPro, NetSuite, SAP RAR, etc.).
- Monitor changes in revenue accounting guidance and drive policy and process updates as needed.
