Senior Vice President - Employee Relations

KRAs:
- Provide strategic and pragmatic advice and support to business leaders on a wide range of complex employee relations and individual employment matters which require specialist employment advice, including but not limited to serious misconduct, employment grievances/disputes, underperformance, whistleblowing matters and significant under performance
- Develop and embed employee relations framework for India with focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation
- Manage formal investigations/enquiries into employee conduct and concerns, including workplace bullying, harassment and discrimination matters
- Respond to industrial and employment related legal claims
- Interpret and advise on application of employment and industrial local laws, regulations, and workplace policies
- Support the development of people leader capability including conducting training and preparing knowledge articles and guidance on key employment and industrial relations issues
- Provide support on internal projects requiring specialist employment law / employee relations and/or industrial input, including those involving major organisational change and/or union engagement
- Provide leadership and support of People & Culture programs, projects and activities, including identifying reporting on trends and issues of significance
- Engage with and influence senior stakeholders to achieve optimal results for the business and ultimately our customers
- Role model values and coach others to do the same
Experience:
- Proven ER experience within a large corporate environment, preferably in the finance sector or professional services
- Minimum HR experience of 14-20 years including proven ER experience of 6-8 years
- Effective application of data, analysis and insights
- Demonstrated experience in writing and presenting reports to Senior Leadership teams
Qualification Requirements:
- Masters in Business Management (preferably in HR) and/or employment law
