Job Description:
1. Technical Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on innovation and knowledge sharing.
2. AI/ML Project Management:
- Oversee technical execution of AI/ML projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
3. AI/ML Development & Implementation:
- Design and implement AI/ML architectures, algorithms, and models.
- Review and approve technical designs, code, and implementations to maintain best practices.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of AI/ML solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with product managers, software engineers, and business teams to translate requirements into AI/ML solutions.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and senior management.
5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on AI/ML advancements and industry trends to enhance technical practices.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and integrate new technologies to drive innovation.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain technical documentation, including design documents, model specifications, and implementation guides.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress, technical milestones, and team performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 7+ years in AI/ML roles, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong hands on with machine learning algorithms, Gen AI, and data processing.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Java and experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices.
Leadership & Communication:
- Proven experience in leading AI/ML teams and managing projects end-to-end.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to drive results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Industry Experience: Retail domain experience is a plus but not mandatory.
