Senior Team Lead - Controls - Engineering Operations

Job Summary:

- We are seeking an experienced Senior Team Lead - Controls to spearhead a talented team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge control systems for large-scale Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and Parcel Handling Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of controls engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

- Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to final commissioning.

- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budget to ensure all deliverables are met on schedule.

Technical Expertise:

- Architect, design, and implement complex PLC/SCADA software and hardware solutions for material handling systems.

- Develop and review technical documentation, including functional design specifications (FDS), software design specifications (SDS), and test plans.

- Oversee system testing, commissioning, and on-site integration to ensure seamless operation.

- Serve as the primary technical expert for the team, providing troubleshooting support and innovative problem-solving.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Collaborate closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and electrical designers to ensure a cohesive and integrated solution.

- Communicate effectively with global customers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.

- Act as a key interface between the engineering team and other business units to streamline project execution.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Control Systems.

- A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is mandatory.

- A minimum of 8 years of experience in controls engineering, with at least 3 years in a team leadership or senior technical role.

- Proven expertise with major PLC platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider Electric.

- Strong understanding of SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (e. , Profinet, Ethernet/IP).

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage complex technical challenges.

- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for project commissioning and client meetings
