Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced leader to set up and scale our Contract Manufacturing vertical. This person will be responsible for building a robust network of manufacturing partners, driving production planning, managing quality and cost efficiencies and building a scalable business unit across multiple industries. The ideal candidate should bring deep industry knowledge business acumen.

What You'll Do:

- Build and scale the contract manufacturing network across India and select global markets.

- Identify and onboard partners with capabilities in fabrication, machining, casting, forging, assembly, and value-added manufacturing processes.

- Negotiate commercial agreements with vendors ensuring cost competitiveness, quality standards & delivery timelines.

- Set up SOPs for production planning, quality control, and capacity management.

- Drive execution of high-value customer orders end-to-end with strong operational control.

- Own the vertical's P&L and work towards improving margins, optimizing working capital, and scaling order book.

- Build a team of vendor development, operations, and quality professionals.

- Collaborate with sales, product & supply chain teams to identify opportunities for product customization and value engineering.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field (MBA preferred).

- Background: Strong exposure to contract manufacturing / job work models with proven experience in scaling manufacturing networks

- 10+ years of experience

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of fabrication, machining, casting, assembly, and related manufacturing processes.

- Proven ability to manage P&L, drive margins, and optimize costs.

- Strong understanding of ferrous materials, fabrication processes, and industrial applications.

- Proven track record in launching and scaling new product lines and categories.

- Established network of vendors and manufacturing partners.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
