Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value clients in the gems and jewellery industry.
- Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Candidates from Wholesale banking and corporate banking experience will be a fit for the role.
- Conduct credit assessments and structure customized financial solutions.
- Creates, Identifies, explores and assesses business opportunities in existing and prospect clients. Aims to secure deals which maximize the banks share of client's wallet.
- Remains close to the client's business activities in order to anticipate client needs, provide excellent service, deepen client relationship with the bank, monitor and control risk.
- Monitor account performance, ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with credit, risk, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes.
- Drive cross-sell of bank products including trade finance, forex, and treasury solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in relationship management, preferably in the gems and jewellery or Whole Banking.
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.
Skills:
- Preferably Strong understanding of the gems and jewellery industry.
- Excellent credit appraisal and risk assessment skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and banking systems.
