Role & responsibilities
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this job is to acquire new clients and maintain strong relationship with existing clients in the Emerging & Growth Clients business and create client specific strategies for maintaining a profitable / sustainable revenue model by way of cross sell and upsell while having a high-quality portfolio as per established business norms.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Manage client acquisition and relationship management, support deal execution
- Grow, nurture, and manage relationships across Emerging & Mid-Corporate Houses
- To set high standards of Deal structuring, due diligence & loan documentation
- Conducts due diligence, manages risk at the transaction level. Ensures compliance, audit readiness
KPI:
- To assist the Head in delivering Business Development strategy and Deliver Profitability & Asset Book numbers in line with the budgets for the Emerging & Mid-Market Business
- Sales Growth & Client Acquisition - Identify business development opportunities and execute client acquisition activities (prospecting, lead generation, client engagement, need articulation, solution fitment, relationship maintenance), driving book expansion and brand presence in the market
- To set high standards of Deal Structuring, Due Diligence& Loan Documentation - To have strong sectoral and product knowledge which enables effective deal structuring & term sheet discussions with the customer. To conduct detailed due diligence, analysis, evaluation of the deal thereby resulting in high quality appraisal.
- To formulate periodic MIS for the routine activities - To send periodic reports to Business Heads / Head Emerging and Growth Markets for potential business opportunities etc.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Must be Postgraduate with 7+ years experience in managing Business Development for SME or MSME Clients
