Reporting to: Head of Product - RGM
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Product Market Fit:
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Analyse and evaluate product- market fit to inform product development decisions.
2. Cross- Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a bridge between customers, business, marketing, design, and engineering.
- Advocate for customers, gather feedback, and analyse key performance metrics.
3. Define and Document Product Requirements
- Conduct user interviews to understand user journeys and behaviours, and identify user problems.
- Prioritize user problems as per the impact, and product vision
- Define and detail out product requirements clearly.
4. Product Development:
- Collaborate with development teams (Data engineers, application engineers, and testing) to ensure that the product is being built as envisioned.
- Own the product development in terms on defining the "What" and enable the team to design the "How".
- Understand impact of key engineering designs decisions that impact product behaviour or performance
5. Sprint Execution and Scrum Activities:
- Assist in sprint goal setting and scrum activities.
- Monitor progress and ensure the team stays on track with deliverables.
6. Feature User Acceptance Testing:
- Conduct feature level UAT on the software developed by Engineering post deployment.
- Raise bugs in JIRA and track the subsequent resolution.
7. Effective Communication:
- Engage in open and effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment on product vision, roadmap, and specific goals.
8. User Adoption:
- Track user adoption across features to identify key insights that would aid in
- Track and analyse key performance indicators through tracking software like Mix panel post feature launch.
Skills:
- Ability to comprehend business / customer asks and findings, then conceptualise solution approach / ideas to match the requirements.
- Ability to convey ideas to design, engineering teams, and gain cross- functional buy- in.
- Understanding of customer and user personas, balancing their needs.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Adaptability to changing customer needs and high efficacy under tight deadlines.
- Preferred - Technical understanding of software architecture and code. (Level - beginner)
Profile Expectations:
- 4+ years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS. (must have)
- Preferred - Engineering background in IT / CS with a degree in general management (MBA) or specialisation in Product management.
- Knowledge of Revenue Growth Management, and/or experience having worked with building AI/ML based products is preferred.
- Self- motivated, innovative, and a strong team player.
- Agility and flexibility in adapting to a dynamic and hybrid work environment.
- Ability to work well with different teams and establish a collaborative relationship and get work done faster.
