Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Portfolio/Program Lead to act as the bridge between delivery teams and customer leadership. This individual will be responsible for managing scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations across multiple projects and technology teams. You will collaborate closely with customer leadership, project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure all initiatives are aligned with strategic goals and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive governance and communication with key stakeholders across US/UK/ANZ geographies.
- Assist project managers with planning, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities, ensuring accountability and task completion.
- Track project progress, manage risks/issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Facilitate team meetings and status updates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project health.
- Oversee change control, scope definition, and stakeholder communication plans.
- Ensure adherence to internal governance and documentation standards.
- Act as liaison between business and technical teams for proper alignment.
- Help prioritize investments and ensure they align with customer strategic goals.
- Report overall program status, risks, and dependencies to customer leadership.
- Optimize resource allocation and drive decisions at the portfolio level.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: BE/B.Tech, MCA, or MBA in IT or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years in project management or program/portfolio leadership roles in IT.
- Strong grasp of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Trello, or Asana.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of managing customer stakeholders (US/UK/ANZ).
- Sound understanding of technologies like Python, AWS, and Databases (Mandatory).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and documentation capability.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
