Overview:
- Reporting directly to the Head of HR for India and working closely with the Global Internal Communications team, this role acts as a strategic partner to the India business, supporting the planning, reviewing, and scheduling of all internal communications.
- This includes planned initiatives related to business integration, business-as-usual requirements, and ad hoc or reactive requests in response to evolving business needs or external events.
- The primary focus of the Internal Communications Business Partner is to drive the delivery of a comprehensive, informative, accessible, and engaging communications plan that enhances employee experience and reinforces a values-based, inclusive culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop clear communication plans covering:
- Strategic business updates (e.g., progress on integration)
- People-related changes
- Engagement events
- Recognition initiatives
- Coordinate with the Internal Communications Manager to align scheduling of communications, ensuring messaging is balanced and does not compete for employees' attention.
- Provide creative and innovative recommendations on communication methods to engage employees, making use of diverse communication channels.
- Review, edit, and facilitate approvals of communications and supporting materials.
- Act as a subject matter expert in internal communication platforms (such as intranet, Yammer, Teams, etc.), guiding stakeholders on effective usage and content placement.
- Support the development and facilitation of content for leadership meetings and company-wide "All Hands" calls where required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with a range of internal communications channels.
- Ability to design multi-channel communications plans with employee engagement as a central focus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and brand-compliant presentations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to liaise with individuals at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to design engaging communication strategies.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Solution-oriented approach, demonstrating agility, positivity, and proactivity in changing circumstances.
- Global mindset with sensitivity to cultural and regional differences.
- Ability to build strong working relationships and constructively influence stakeholders.
