
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Talent Acquisition professional with experience in hiring across functions within the grey cement or building materials industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment and talent pipeline development for our Kolkata operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle sourcing, screening, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with business leaders and functional heads to understand hiring needs.
- Source candidates through job portals, networking, employee referrals, and industry-specific platforms.
- Coordinate with external recruitment agencies and vendors when required.
- Drive recruitment for field sales, plant operations, logistics, technical roles, and support functions.
- Ensure a strong candidate pipeline and maintain a talent database for future requirements.
- Monitor hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and offer-to-join ratio.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and statutory recruitment norms.
- Handle employer branding initiatives and participate in job fairs/campus hiring drives.
- Support HR operations as and when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of proven experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in cement, building materials, or core manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of technical and field hiring.
- Strong experience in CRM.
- Good knowledge of recruitment tools and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
Preferred Candidate:
- Exposure to hiring for roles in supply chain, production, and technical teams is a plus.
- Familiarity with regional hiring trends and language (Bengali) preferred.
