Senior Manager - Sourcing - Aerospace/Defence Sector

Missions

- Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence;

- Support Head of Purchase and Procurement to develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies align with the organization's goals and objectives;

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and provide strategic solutions;

- Conduct India supply chain analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess market trend

- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery and reliability;

- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best cost, terms and conditions for the organization;

- Lead initiatives to drive process improvements, and risk mitigation in sourcing activities

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure long-term collaboration;

- Identify proactively and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, market volatility, and supplier performance;

- Reporting on sourcing activities, savings, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership;

- Develop & Coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities;

- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team effectiveness.

Qualifications and experience

- Bachelor's degree in engineering/Supply Chain Management or a related field. Master's degree in SCM from top Institutes

- Min 15 years' experience in purchasing field (preferably 5 years in aerospace and/or defence)
