About the Role :


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Sr. Manager/Manager - Liaison to join our team in Gujarat. This is a critical individual contributor role responsible for managing all regulatory and statutory coordination for our reputable clients manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in navigating the complex landscape of government and local authorities, ensuring seamless operations and complete compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Regulatory & Government Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for all regulatory bodies and local authorities, including but not limited to the GPCB (Gujarat Pollution Control Board), industrial safety and health departments, and local municipal corporations. Proactively build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key officials to facilitate smooth business operations.

- Compliance & Audits: Ensure the plant's complete compliance with all central, state, and local laws, regulations, and statutory requirements related to manufacturing, environment, safety, and labor. Prepare for and facilitate all external audits and inspections, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.

- Permits & Renewals: Manage the timely application and renewal of all necessary licenses, permits, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) required for plant operations. This includes environmental clearances, fire safety certificates, and other operational permits.

- Internal Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, legal, human resources, and finance, to address and resolve any regulatory-related issues. Provide expert advice and guidance on compliance matters to internal stakeholders.

- Problem Resolution: Effectively address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise with external agencies, acting as a troubleshooter to mitigate risks and prevent operational disruptions.

- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of all communications, permits, and compliance-related documentation. Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on the status of all liaison activities and compliance matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: 10-15 years of experience in a similar liaison, public relations, or regulatory affairs role, preferably within the manufacturing or related industries in Gujarat.

- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree (Graduate/PG) in any discipline.

- Liaison Expertise: Proven track record of successfully interacting with government officials and regulatory bodies.

- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks applicable to the manufacturing sector in Gujarat.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport.

- Networking: An established network of contacts in government and regulatory agencies.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Integrity: High degree of integrity and professionalism.
