Job Title: Senior Manager HR Business Partner (Retail)


Function: Human Resources


Position Based at: Gurgaon


Reports To: Head HR


Education:


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.


Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is a plus.


Experience:


- At least 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years in an HRBP or management role within the retail or customer-focused industry.


Job Summary:


- The Senior Manager HR Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to retail leadership, supporting the development and execution of HR strategies to drive business performance. This role will involve providing guidance and expertise across various HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and performance management.


- The Senior Manager HRBP will work closely with senior retail management to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and business goals, contributing to the overall success of the retail business.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic HR Partnership:


- Partner with retail leadership teams to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.


Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on a variety of HR matters.


Talent Management:


- Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention strategies for retail employees.


- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent gaps and support the recruitment process for key roles.


Employee Engagement:


- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.


- Promote a positive work environment and drive retention through recognition programs and career development opportunities.


Performance Management:


- Guide managers and teams through performance management processes, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and addressing performance issues.


- Ensure effective talent assessment and development plans.


Employee Relations:


- Provide expert advice and support on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.


- Mediate conflict and ensure a fair and supportive work environment.


Change Management:


- Support organizational change initiatives, working closely with senior management to ensure smooth transitions, employee buy-in, and minimal disruption to operations.


HR Metrics & Reporting:


- Use HR analytics to assess trends and provide insights to improve HR processes and business outcomes.


- Report on key HR metrics, including turnover, engagement, and retention.


Compliance & Best Practices:


- Ensure all HR activities comply with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.


- Stay up to date with HR best practices and trends in the retail industry.
