Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Role Summary
As the Sr. Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial strategy of a leading footwear company by leveraging your expertise in planning, performance analysis, and forecasting. You will partner closely with operations, sales, marketing, treasury, and accounting teams to deliver accurate forecasts, insightful analysis, and actionable recommendations that drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process across geographies, business verticals, and functions.
- Manage annual budgeting cycles and rolling forecasts for 1-month, 3-month, 12-month, and 3-year horizons.
- Present complex financial scenarios and risk/opportunity assessments to aid decision-making.
- Continuously improve forecasting models and planning processes to enhance accuracy and agility.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly and ad-hoc financial reports with deep business insights.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Create executive analysis packs summarizing key metrics across time periods.
- Deliver customized analysis to meet departmental and strategic needs.
Board & Investor Presentations
- Develop high-quality Board and investor presentation decks aligned with strategic priorities.
- Translate financial and operational data into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders.
- Support the CFO and CEO during investor discussions with robust data analysis and scenario insights.
Business Intelligence & Data Analysis
- Implement and manage real-time dashboards for daily, weekly, month-to-date (MTD), and year-to-date (YTD) performance tracking.
- Enable leadership with data-driven insights for quick decision-making.
- Conduct benchmarking studies against industry peers and present findings to senior leadership.
Desired Skills & Experience
Education: CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
Experience: 5-8 years in FP&A, strategic finance, planning & analysis, or consulting.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel & financial modeling; proficiency in BI/reporting tools preferred.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data and translate analysis into actionable business recommendations.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for impactful presentations.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence senior decision-makers.
