Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager Finance & Accounts with strong expertise in healthcare cost accounting, billing management, and financial reporting within the hospital sector. The role demands exceptional analytical skills, deep sector knowledge, and the ability to partner with operational teams to optimize cost efficiency and enhance profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate cost allocation and package costing.

- Prepare and consolidate Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statements, and MIS for management review and audit purposes.

- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and identify improvement opportunities.

- Collaborate with hospital departments to design and implement cost-control strategies.

- Estimate new package costs and evaluate pricing competitiveness while safeguarding margins.

- Analyze cost drivers and recommend strategic actions to increase profitability.

- Manage billing operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely revenue recognition.

- Track and report key financial metrics: EBITDA, PAT, ROI on procedures/equipment, ARPOV.

- Support month-end and year-end closing in line with statutory and internal requirements.

- Oversee audit compliance and ensure timely submission of reports.

Skills & Competencies :

- Strong expertise in Healthcare Cost Accounting and Hospital Billing Management.

- Proficiency in MIS preparation, data analysis, and financial consolidation.

- In-depth understanding of cost drivers in the healthcare sector.

- Advanced knowledge of audit compliance and statutory requirements.

- High proficiency in MS Excel and hospital ERP/financial software.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

CA-Inter / CA-Final / Cost Accountant /MBA with 14+ years of hospital/healthcare finance experience.
