Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts

Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Procure to Pay (P2P) / Accounts Payable professional to lead and manage our end-to-end P2P function. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in payment processing, purchase orders, invoice management, and thorough understanding of ERP systems (preferably SAP). This role requires effective leadership, strategic thinking, and deep domain knowledge in compliance, audit readiness, and procurement lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the entire Procure to Pay cycle, including vendor onboarding, PO creation, invoice verification, payment processing, and GRN tracking.

- Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing in compliance with company policies and audit guidelines.

- Monitor vendor payments, resolve discrepancies, and manage escalations effectively.

- Work closely with the Procurement, Treasury, and Tax teams to ensure seamless coordination and process compliance.

- Ensure ERP SAP system accuracy and lead process improvements and automation initiatives.

- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and ensure full compliance and documentation for all AP transactions.

- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks in the P2P process and implement mitigation strategies.

- Lead and mentor a team of executives or specialists managing daily AP operations.

- Establish and track KPIs for process efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process bottlenecks and ensure business continuity.

Must Have Skills:

- Strong expertise in Procure to Pay process and Accounts Payable management

- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems (preferably SAP S/4HANA or ECC)

- Sound knowledge of payment processing, purchase order flow, invoice lifecycle, and vendor reconciliations

- Familiarity with audit processes, tax implications, and regulatory compliance

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
