Senior Manager - Finance

About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead our finance function and play a pivotal role in strategic planning, financial management, and decision-making.

- You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing actionable insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Drive financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including variance analysis, cash flow management, and profitability analysis.

- Develop and implement robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop financial strategies that align with overall business goals.

- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and statutory reporting.

- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

- Lead the budgeting process and support departments with budget management.

- Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions as needed.

- Provide financial insights and risk assessments to support business decisions, investments, and cost optimization.

- Support business expansion initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising activities.

- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.

- MBA or professional certifications like CA, CPA, CMA, or CFA are highly desirable.

- Minimum 4+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior role.

- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Deep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory compliance.

- Experience with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks).

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering business insights.
