This is a high-impact, individual contributor role designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is commercially savvy, and has a strong grasp of both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) dynamics.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development


- Appoint and manage distributors, while engaging with the retail landscape.

- Build and scale direct distribution in new markets.

- Identify and plug revenue and margin leakages.

- Benchmark competition and drive counter-strategies through promotions and new product development.

- Launch new products and expand the health portfolio.

- Manage trade marketing spend and evaluate distributor proposals.

- Liaise with government bodies and manage tender business.


Customer Engagement

- Onboard and manage distributors across global markets.

- Drive distributor performance and expand into HORECA and bulk segments.

- Explore new buyer opportunities beyond core markets.


People Leadership

- Build and mentor a high-performing sales team.

- Design robust sales structures, systems, and performance reviews.

- Lead operations, HR, legal, and admin functions for international subsidiaries.

- Integrate systems with domestic teams for seamless operations.


What You Bring

- Proven experience in global FMCG distribution and trading models.

- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

- Data-driven mindset with a focus on sales analytics.

- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- A self-starter attitude with a solution-oriented approach and a sense of urgency.
