Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager Corporate Bonds to lead the origination, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities in listed corporate bonds.

This role requires a strong understanding of debt capital markets, credit evaluation, and end-to end investment processes. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in deal sourcing, financial analysis, execution, and relationship management with corporate, NBFCs, brokers, bankers, and arrangers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deal Origination & Business Development

- Identify, originate, and develop investment opportunities in listed corporate bonds.

- Undertake direct outreach to corporate and NBFCs seeking to raise debt capital.

- Build and leverage a strong network of brokers, bankers, arrangers, and other market

participants to source high-quality deals.

- Maintain ongoing engagement with issuers to stay informed about upcoming fundraising plans.

2. Evaluation & Analysis

- Conduct in-depth financial, credit, and business analysis of corporate and NBFCs.

- Assess market conditions, sectoral outlook, and relative value opportunities within the corporate bond space.

- Perform risk-return evaluation and recommend suitable investment opportunities.

3. Execution & Structuring

- Lead end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence, documentation, and negotiations.

- Structure transactions in line with internal investment parameters and regulatory guidelines.

- Liaise with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth closure of deals.

4. Portfolio & Relationship Management

- Monitor existing investments for performance, risks, and compliance.

- Maintain strong relationships with issuers, investors, intermediaries, and rating agencies.

- Stay updated with market developments, regulatory changes, and evolving trends in debt capital markets.

Qualifications & Experience:

- MBA/CA/CFA or equivalent with specialisation in Finance, Investments, or related fields.

- 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate bonds, debt capital markets, or fixed-income investments.

- Strong track record in originating and executing listed corporate bond transactions.

- In-depth understanding of credit analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory frameworks (SEBI, RBI, etc.).

- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to make investment decisions under tight timelines.
