Key Responsibilities:
1) Payroll Management
- Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate salary processing for all employees
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure correct deductions, benefits, and statutory compliance
- Address employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies related to compensation, benefits, or deductions
2) HR & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure HR operations align with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including labor laws, tax codes, and benefits legislation
- Stay updated on changes in HR-related laws and ensure internal policies reflect current legal standards
- Lead HR audits and coordinate with external auditors to maintain compliance and uphold regulatory standards
3) Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other offerings
- Liaise with external vendors to ensure smooth delivery and management of benefits
- Guide employees on benefit options, eligibility criteria, and enrollment procedures
- Partner with the HR team to assess and enhance benefits in alignment with employee needs and organizational goals
4) HRMS Administration
- Oversee and optimize the HRMS platform (primarily Darwin Box), ensuring data accuracy and system reliability
- Generate and interpret HR reports covering payroll, compliance, and employee lifecycle metrics
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to implement system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and enhance functionality
5) Employee Lifecycle Management
- Maintain accurate employee records throughout the lifecycle-from onboarding to exit-within the HRMS
- Support HR reporting, performance tracking, and benefits administration processes
6) Process Optimization
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in HR operations and propose actionable improvements
- Drive HR initiatives that enhance employee experience and streamline operational workflows
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of HR operations, labor laws, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proven leadership in managing and mentoring HR teams
- Proficiency in HRMS platforms, MS Office, and HR analytics tools
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity in handling confidential information
Education:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in HR Operations or related functions
- Demonstrated expertise in managing comprehensive HR processes including onboarding, payroll, performance management, compliance, employee engagement, and relations
- Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms (e.g., Darwin Box) and data management
