Role Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Asset Disposal team, responsible for driving the strategic recovery and disposal of stressed and non-performing assets (NPAs).
- The role demands a strong understanding of SARFAESI enforcement, asset valuation, auction processes, stakeholder management, and regulatory compliance.
- The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end management of repossessed or defaulted assets, ensuring maximum recovery value through timely disposal, legal action, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate stressed and repossessed assets for recovery, disposal, and sale in alignment with the company's asset resolution strategy.
- Drive enforcement actions under SARFAESI Act, including issuance of notices, repossession, and execution of Section 14 orders in coordination with legal and enforcement teams.
- Manage relationships with brokers, agents, recovery agencies, and legal counsels to expedite asset disposal and maximize recovery.
- Oversee the entire auction process - from property inspection, buyer identification, vendor empanelment, to sale closure - ensuring adherence to regulatory norms.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including banks, NBFCs, Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs), and legal authorities on asset enforcement and disposal matters.
- Work closely with internal teams - legal, credit, collection, and operations - for seamless execution of recovery and disposal activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with SARFAESI Act, DRT, IBC regulations, and RBI guidelines governing asset disposal and recovery.
- Maintain accurate MIS and reporting dashboards for senior management, covering recovery performance, auction pipeline, legal actions, and disposal outcomes.
- Participate in strategy meetings with the management to suggest improvements in recovery processes, pricing strategies, and buyer engagement models.
- Monitor market trends, pricing benchmarks, and regulatory updates affecting asset disposal and recovery.
