About the Role:
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead and drive the marketing strategy and execution for our Solar business. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution across product marketing, brand building, channel and partner engagement, and customer communication.
You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Channel teams to ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with business goals, with a strong focus on new product launches, digital and offline campaigns, and customer-centric communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all marketing activities for the Solar business, ensuring alignment with sales, product, and leadership teams.
- Develop and execute Marketing Action Plans and Campaign Calendars that support key business objectives, including:
- New Product Launches and Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy
- Seasonal and Business Campaigns to drive sales and visibility
- Regional and Partner-Specific Marketing Initiatives
- Tactical campaigns driven by head office or regional needs
- Manage and control the marketing budget for Solar, ensuring cost-effective execution of initiatives.
- Build and roll out channel and consumer engagement programs, including training, promotions, and co-branded activities with partners.
- Ensure consistent and impactful brand communication, translating business goals into clear marketing and creative briefs.
- Lead Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) campaigns, covering offline, digital, and eCommerce channels.
- Develop customer-centric marketing initiatives, including communication that reflects consumer insights, pain points, and product benefits.
- Collaborate with Sales and Channel teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of marketing activities.
- Monitor and improve customer journey and brand experience, managing all relevant touchpoints to enhance brand perception.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- MBA in Marketing from a reputed institute.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Product/Marketing roles, preferably with exposure to sales and channel marketing.
- Experience in solar, renewable energy, consumer durables, electrical, or allied industries will be an added advantage.
Skills & Personal Attributes:
- Strong understanding of business, distribution, and channel dynamics, especially for B2C models.
Proven experience in:
- New Product Launches & GTM strategies
- Integrated marketing campaigns (offline + digital)
- Channel marketing & partner engagement
- eCommerce and Digital-first marketing approaches
- Developing communication briefs linked to business objectives
- Customer journey mapping and engagement strategies
- Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams including sales, product, and channel partners.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and execution abilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
