Job Title: Senior Leadership Non-EB Client Servicing

Department: Client Servicing General Insurance (Non-EB)

Industry: Insurance Broking

Multiple Location: Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi

Reports To: Director/CEO/Regional Head General Insurance

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in General Insurance with strong client servicing background (Non-EB)

Type: Full-Time

Role Objective:

To lead and strengthen the client servicing vertical for General Insurance (Non-EB) by managing key corporate accounts, ensuring high service standards, developing strategic client relationships, and driving retention and organic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Client Relationship Management:


- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with large corporate clients.


- Act as the key point of contact for escalations and complex service issues.


- Understand client businesses and offer tailored insurance solutions across Property, Liability, Marine, Motor, and other non-EB lines.

Leadership & Team Management:


- Lead a team of client servicing professionals to deliver timely and quality services.


- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring alignment with company goals.


- Allocate resources and assign responsibilities to meet service level agreements.

Service Delivery & Retention:


- Ensure all servicing deliverables (renewals, endorsements, claims support, policy issuance, MIS, etc.) are managed seamlessly.


- Drive high client satisfaction and retention by exceeding client expectations.


- Monitor client contracts and renewal schedules to ensure timely engagement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


- Work closely with placement, underwriting, claims, and compliance teams to ensure end-to-end client servicing.


- Partner with business development teams to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Client Reviews & Reporting:


- Conduct periodic review meetings with clients, highlighting performance, claims experience, and risk insights.


- Provide detailed MIS and analytics to clients and internal leadership.

Compliance & Industry Best Practices:


- Ensure all client servicing activities are compliant with IRDAI regulations and internal policies.


- Keep abreast of market trends, product innovations, and regulatory changes.

Required Skills & Experience:


- Minimum 5 years of experience in General Insurance client servicing (Non-EB) within a broker or insurer.


- Strong knowledge across Property, Fire, Engineering, Liability, Marine, and other General Insurance products.


- Demonstrated ability to lead client portfolios of large corporates across sectors.


- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.


- Team leadership experience is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:


- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.


- Certifications like Licentiate / Associate from III or equivalent preferred.


- IRDAI broker license (preferred but not mandatory).
