Hiring for the role of Sr. Leadership - EB - Client Servicing (General Insurance Only)

Multiple Locations: Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced senior leader to head the Employee Benefits (EB) Client Servicing division within our General Insurance practice. This role is pivotal in ensuring excellent client retention, strategic account management, and smooth execution of all group health insurance and employee benefit programs across large and mid-sized clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

- Lead and manage the client servicing function for Employee Benefits (primarily Group Health Insurance, Group Personal Accident, and Group Term Life).

- Drive strategic initiatives to improve client engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

- Build strong relationships with insurers and TPAs to ensure smooth service delivery.

Client Relationship Management

- Act as a senior point of contact for high-value corporate clients.

- Oversee onboarding, policy renewals, claims escalations, and grievance redressals.

- Ensure timely and efficient service delivery as per agreed SLAs.

- Proven track record of handling team leadership roles in EB/GHI verticals.- Lead and mentor a team of client servicing managers and executives.

Team Management

- Lead and mentor a team of client servicing managers and executives.

- Set KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct regular training sessions to ensure upskilling.

- Claims and Operations Oversight

- Supervise the end-to-end claims management process, including high-severity escalations.

- Liaise with underwriting, claims, and policy issuance teams to ensure timely delivery.

Business & Revenue Growth

- Identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling and partner with the sales team to drive additional revenue.

- Support renewals with pricing negotiations and policy design advisory.

Compliance & Reporting

- Ensure all client-related processes are compliant with IRDAI regulations.

- Generate reports on client servicing metrics and present to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 5 of experience in client servicing within Employee Benefits (GHI, GPA, GTL) in an insurance broker setup.

Education:

Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline; MBA preferred. IRDAI broker license is a plus.

Domain Knowledge:

Strong understanding of group insurance products, underwriting practices, and claims management.

Skills Required:

- Excellent client relationship and account management skills

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities

- Negotiation and stakeholder management

- Analytical and problem-solving mindset

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Background:

- Prior experience in top-tier insurance broking firms managing large corporate clients.

- Proven track record of handling team leadership roles in EB/GHI verticals.
