Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead the human resources function and contribute to the growth of our organization.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies, managing end-to-end HR operations, and fostering a productive and compliant work environment aligned with the company's goals.
- This is a leadership role requiring hands-on experience in HR management, especially within the construction or infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Policy Development
- Design and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, and HR compliance frameworks.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead recruitment drives to fill roles across technical, non-technical, and site-level positions.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning, role specifications, and hiring needs.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, conflict resolution, and workplace ethics.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and organizational culture programs.
- Performance Management
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, KPI alignment, and career progression plans.
- Provide guidance to managers for performance improvement plans (PIPs) and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs across departments and facilitate relevant skill development programs.
- Promote a learning culture through on-the-job training, workshops, and external programs.
- Payroll, Compliance & Statutory Management
- Coordinate payroll processing in coordination with the accounts team.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory regulations.
- Handle audits and liaise with labor departments or consultants when needed.
Site HR Oversight
- Work closely with project/site HR teams to manage the well-being and productivity of site-based staff and labor.
- Ensure adherence to safety, labor regulations, and local HR practices at construction sites.
Candidate Profile:
- MBA in Human Resource Management from a recognized institute.
- 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance, and statutory obligations.
- Proven leadership experience in managing HR teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
