Senior Financial Analyst Dynamic Modelling & Data Analytics
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (with travel to Dubai)
Experience: 5 to 7 years post CFA Level III (or equivalent)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst with expertise in dynamic financial modelling, data analytics, fundraising, and M&A.
The role will work closely with senior leadership, investors, and global teams to drive strategic financial insights and value creation in the fintech and payments space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain advanced 3-statement, DCF, and scenario/sensitivity financial models.
- Conduct large-scale financial and business data analysis using Excel, SQL, and Python/R.
- Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI/Tableau to support decision-making.
- Support fundraising, debt financing, and M&A transactions, including due diligence and valuation.
- Prepare investment memos, board presentations, and financial reports for senior management and investors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance, strategy, and operations to drive business insights.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor performance, and market intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with financial governance, risk management, and reporting standards.
Skillsets Required:
- CFA Charter holder (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- Hands-on experience with Python/R for financial data analytics (preferred).
- Proven track record in fundraising, M&A transactions, and financial due diligence.
- Strong business acumen with deep understanding of fintech and payments industry dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence CXOs and investors.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under tight deadlines
