Senior Executive - Direct Tax - CA

A subsidiary of a listed company is looking for a Chartered Accountant with experience in Direct Tax litigation/compliance (Income Tax compliance and litigation) with close to 2 to 5 years of post qualification experience.

The job location is Chennai (Guindy).

- Assistance in litigation for direct taxes matters for the holding company and its subsidiaries

- Ensure Filing of Income Tax Return, Tax Audit and Transfer Pricing Compliance

- Review and filing of TDS compliances with the support of BU team's

- Handling of departmental audits and assessments (direct)

- Assistance in identification & review of appropriate tax rates/TDS rates for goods/ services

- Handing implementation of new compliances /projects with respect to tax

- Assisting to business units to resolve operational matters related to taxes

Wherever required, the support on the following:

- Review and filing of Indirect Tax (monthly GST returns, annual returns, etc.,)

- Preparation and filing of GST refund applications (inverted duty)

- Advisory on withholding of taxes and applicable GST
