- The ideal candidate should have strong experience in product engineering, excellent communication skills, and a growth-oriented mindset.

- They should be able to manage multiple accounts or a large portfolio (100+ people) while ensuring technical excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead software engineering teams to design, build, and maintain products that exceed customer expectations.

- Be a hands-on leader, stepping into coding when needed.

- Manage hiring, training, and career development for the engineering team.

- Improve team engagement, productivity, and engineering quality.

- Oversee budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely product delivery.

- Ensure product quality, scalability, security, and performance.

- Drive innovation and continuous improvement for faster time-to-market.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create business value.

- Write white papers, participate in forums, and contribute to technology discussions.

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience & Expertise:

- 18+ years in product development, with experience in enterprise-scale software.

- Strong knowledge of Java, AWS/Azure, databases, SaaS, and architectural patterns.

- Hands-on coding experience in Java/JEE.

- Deep understanding of Agile, SCRUM, SAFe, and software development processes.

- Ability to collaborate with architects, product teams, and stakeholders.

- Strong experience in data processing at scale.

- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.

Professional Skills:

- Prior experience as an Engineering Director is mandatory.

- Proven ability to lead by example and inspire teams.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong project and stakeholder management abilities.

- Experience working in a matrix environment.

- Strong talent management skills, including developing engineering talent.
