Key Responsibilities: 1. Brand Design & Marketing Collateral: - Ensure brand design alignment across all projects, maintaining a cohesive and premium identity. - Develop and oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, digital assets, and advertisements, to represent projects effectively. - Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize campaigns that highlight the lifestyle and value proposition of the properties. 2. Interior & Exterior Aesthetic Direction: - Influence and guide the aesthetic direction of show units, marketing offices, and clubhouses to align with brand positioning and lifestyle appeal. - Select materials, finishes, colour palettes, and furnishings that reflect the target market's preferences and elevate the customer experience. - Work closely with interior designers, architects, and contractors to ensure quality execution. 3. Landscape Design & Public Spaces: - Collaborate with landscape architects to create engaging and visually appealing outdoor spaces, including gardens, pathways, and communal areas. - Contribute to the selection of plants, outdoor furniture, lighting, and materials that enhance the overall ambiance. - Coordinate with landscape architects to create harmonious outdoor spaces that complement the built environment. - Ensure that landscape designs align with overall project goals and enhance the user experience through thoughtful planning 4. Art, Sculptures, and Wayfinding: - Curate art installations, sculptures, and design elements that resonate with the brand's identity and the project's narrative. - Oversee the design and placement of wayfinding systems, ensuring functionality and aesthetic harmony with the property. 5. Design Detailing & Material Selection: - Maintain a focus on design detailing, ensuring precision and excellence in all visual and tactile aspects of the projects. - Select high-quality materials and finishes that align with the brand's premium positioning and ensure durability. - Develop and lead the conceptualization of residential interiors, ensuring alignment with the company's vision - Coordinate with the Design Leadership focused on defining and maintaining an on-brand project aesthetic appropriate to the market, neighborhood and program - Developing a Handbook with Standards pertaining to the different categories - Oversee the creative direction of residential projects, ensuring innovative and sustainable design solutions. - Translate client briefs into high-quality design concepts that combine functionality, aesthetics, and client satisfaction. - Present design ideas to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and project collaborators. - Conduct thorough research and analysis to select materials that meet both performance and aesthetic criteria for each project. - Collaborate with suppliers to source sustainable and innovative materials that elevate design quality. 6. Lifestyle & Positioning Decisions: - Collaborate with the strategy and sales teams to align design decisions with lifestyle trends and market expectations. - Position the projects as aspirational living spaces by leveraging design as a key differentiator. Key Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or related fields. - 8+ years of experience in creative design leadership roles, preferably in real estate or related industries. - Strong aesthetic sensibility with a keen eye for detail and a passion for design excellence. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Expertise in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp) and familiarity with 3D visualization tools. - Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts and ideas clearly.
