Senior Data Lead - Supply Chain Technology Platform

- Our client, a leading supply chain technology platform with a robust ecosystem of MRO and Office supplies is hiring for a Senior Data Lead who will drive strategic insights across both the demand and supply sides of operations.

- This role is critical in enabling data-backed decision-making across functions, identifying growth opportunities, improving margins, and enhancing customer fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have deep analytical experience, a strong grasp of business operations, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take complete ownership of data across both demand and supply sides, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and reliability for decision-making.

- Analyze large and complex datasets, including over 2 lakh SKUs and data from 25+ warehouses, 600+ clients to extract actionable insights.

- Leverage advanced analytics and introduce cutting-edge technologies to enhance data processing, visualization, and strategic reporting capabilities.

- Analyze large datasets related to procurement patterns, sales pipelines, pricing to identify key trends and variances.

- Build dashboards and analytical models to support strategic business decisions across demand planning, vendor performance, and sales forecasts.

- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for business leaders.

- Evaluate procurement-side metrics (cost, lead time, fill rate, demand variability) and recommend actions to optimize sourcing strategies.

- Monitor sales-side performance (conversion rates, order cycles, regional trends) and identify growth levers or underperforming areas.

- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the procurement and fulfillment lifecycle and recommend data-driven solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in procurement, supply chain, B2B commerce, or tech-driven platforms.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI, Python (preferred).

- Solid business acumen with the ability to interpret data in a commercial context.

- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and present insights to senior leadership in a concise, impactful manner.
