About the Client :
Our client, is a SEBI Registered Category-I Merchant Banker, offers a diverse range of financial services, specializing in Investment Banking, Financial Advisory, and Debt Capital services for institutions, corporates, promoters, and high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution Leadership:
- Lead and oversee the execution of debt syndication deals across BFSI, Corporates, NBFCs, and Real Estate sectors.
- Manage the lifecycle of transactions from due diligence to structuring to closure and post deal coordination.
Credit Structuring & Product Expertise:
- Design complex credit structures including DA (Direct Assignment), PTCs, NCDs, and Sub-Debt.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, taxation, and legal frameworks.
Investor & Lender Relationship Management:
- Build and grow deep relationships with institutional lenders: Banks (Public, Private, Foreign),NBFCs, AIFs, Family Offices, and Corporate Treasuries.
- Ensure repeat mandates and long-term engagement.
Execution & Documentation Oversight:
- Supervise preparation of Credit Appraisal Notes, Financial Projections, Information Memorandums, and Investor/Lender Pitchbooks.
- Manage timely delivery of documentation and regulatory approvals.
Stressed Asset Transactions:
- Handle OTS, restructuring, and IBC-led cases.
- Work closely with Insolvency Professionals, lenders, and legal teams to resolve distressed exposures.
Team Building & Mentorship:
- Build a strong execution and analysis team provide ongoing training, guidance, and oversight.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with legal, compliance, operations,and senior management to ensure aligned execution and risk controls
Requirements:
Domain Expertise
- Strong grasp of banking operations, credit policy, corporate finance and RBI guidelines
- Deep understanding of capital markets, securitization, and structured debt instruments
Analytical & Technical Skills
- Expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and credit risk assessment
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software tools (Bloomberg, ACE Equity)
Leadership & Communication
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle board-level and investor presentations
Execution Agility
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple high-value transactions under tight timelines Sharp attention to detail and accountability for end-to-end deal success
Relationship Orientation
- Proven ability to develop and maintain deep institutional relationships
- Client-first approach with solution-driven mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Mandatory: CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA
Desirable: Certification in Credit Risk, Structured Finance
