Job Title: Senior Certified Financial Planner and Relationship Manager / Investor Advisor

Location: Gurgaon

Experience Required: 3 to 8 years in financial planning and wealth management advisory

Education Preferred: Graduate, Certified Financial Planner / Chartered Financial Analyst / Chartered Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with affluent and high-net-worth clients as their primary point of contact.

- Engage proactively with clients to understand evolving needs, address concerns, and provide tailored advice.

- Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships, cross-sell services, and generate referrals.

Financial Planning and Advisory

- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments including cash flow analysis, investment planning, taxation, retirement planning, and estate planning.

- Design and present financial plans aligned with client goals, risk tolerance, and financial circumstances.

- Monitor and revise financial plans regularly based on market conditions, life events, or regulatory updates.

- Optimize portfolios for long-term growth and tax efficiency in compliance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India regulations.

- Lead the development of a technology-first financial planning product for self-directed users.

Business Development

- Acquire new clients by leveraging networks and relationship-building skills.

- Expand assets under management by strengthening existing client relationships.

- Represent the organization at industry events, seminars, and networking forums to increase visibility.

Requirements

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

- Certified Financial Planner certification (preferred).

- Additional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst or certifications from the National Institute of Securities Markets are advantageous.

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and wealth management in India.

- Minimum 3 years of proven success as a Relationship Manager in wealth management, private banking, or financial advisory services.

- Demonstrated success in managing high-net-worth client relationships and expanding assets under management.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of Indian financial products, taxation, and investment instruments including mutual funds, portfolio management services, real estate investment trusts, and insurance-linked products.

- Proficiency with financial planning tools and software.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.

- Analytical mindset with expertise in portfolio analysis, risk assessment, and market research.

- Client-centric approach with proven ability to build and maintain trust.
