Senior Business Analyst - Consumer Retail
- Our client is a high-growth, mid-sized retail organization specializing in premium apparel and homeware.
- With a strong presence across multiple cities in India and a rapidly expanding digital platform, they are known for their design-led approach and commitment to delivering seamless consumer experiences.
- They are looking to hire a Business Analyst to drive data-backed decision-making, optimize retail, merchandising, and marketing operations, and report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer/Head of Business Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales, inventory, and business performance to identify trends, highlight opportunities, and suggest improvements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Excel, and other data tools to track key business metrics.
- Support annual operating plan (AOP) planning by working with the CEO and CSO to analyze long-term trends.
- Retail Performance Insights: Track store P&L, traffic, conversion rates, and ABQ trends, providing actionable insights to retail teams.
- Consumer Insights & CRM Analytics: Build dashboards to analyze customer retention, segmentation and CRM campaign performance.
- Inventory & Shrinkage Analysis: Monitor inventory turnover, stock levels, and shrinkage data to optimize inventory management.
- Support strategic decision-making by conducting market research and competitor analysis.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 2-6 years of experience in business analytics, preferably in retail, DTC, or consumer brands.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and other business intelligence tools.
- Strong ability to analyze large datasets and present insights to senior leadership.
- Understanding of retail KPIs, sales metrics, and operational processes.
